Dave has coached for 30+ years at all levels from Primary School to Senior Professional Basketball. At present Dave is a BE Senior Coach and Head Coach of York Eagles.

After several guest coach appearances at USA Camps in Tennessee, Philadelphia, New York and Massachusetts Dave took the position of Regional Performance Centre Coach for Yorkshire and is active as a Coach Education Tutor for the British Army and the RAF.

A qualified L3 referee and L2 table official, Dave has a wealth of experience and was the Director of the residential International Basketball Camp in Leeds for 7 years, coaching more than 300 players over 2 weeks and establishing itself as the leading teaching camp in the UK.

Tyler is going into his 4th season as a York Eagles coach, he is head of the U14s program as well as assisting on other teams and also runs our club’s social media outlets. 

At 25, he has all the tools and creativity to develop young players as a National League Coach having a degree in Sports Coaching, and experiences in Canada (2019) & Red Star UK (2023). 

Tyler also runs the York College Basketball program for U19s as well as running his own basketball project in his spare time. 

His achievements are quite impressive too - 

• 2021/22 U13 Yorkshire Champions (Undefeated)
• 2023-24 U14 JNBL North Conference Runners Up (20-2) 
• 2023-24 (Assistant) U14 JNBL Girls North Conference Champions (16-0)
