Training

We offer Community Training sessions for players not selected for squads at York College. We welcome junior players of any age between 8 and 18 and any ability but we want players who when ready to play National League (NL) are prepared to train at least twice a week (with a little flexibility).

Our NL players should be and are serious about their basketball!

Community Training Schedule

The Community Sessions are for new players and Development Teams players. These trainings are NOT for squad players (see Squads Training Schedule below). Community training for ages 8-12 will start on 19 October 2024. Specific cancelations or changes will be available in Stack Team App.

Training for ages 13-18 is indefinitely postponed as we are currently unable to find an appropriate venue and coaches.

Squads Training Schedule

This is the initial squad training schedule for selected squad members for the 2024-2025 season starting the week of September 1, 2024.

Non-selected players are welcome to come to the community training sessions (see above).

The training schedules will no longer be posted on the web site but are available from the York Eagles Stack Team App.

Fees

The fees for the 2024-2025 are available on the Resources page. The fees for the 2025 summer season will be determined based on venue and coach availability.
